Last weekend saw the annual Yorkshire Dales Real Ale and Cider Festival, held in Leyburn, Wensleydale. The festival included around 40 different beers and 10 ciders, served across the Bank Holiday weekend, amongst which was our very own coffee porter, Londinium (5.5%). Brewed using a blend of roasted malts and English hops, with a subtle coffee finish, Londinium has proved extremely popular with our free trade customers. The recognition, however, hasn’t stopped there, as it was awarded 2nd place in the overall competition, chosen by the general public, having been voted number one in the dark beer category. Our thanks go out to everyone who enjoyed a beer we throughly enjoyed making.
