LONG SHOT

Roy Hodgson has stepped up to the plate and assembled a squad of hopefuls to take on Europe’s elite at this summer’s European Championships in the Ukraine and Poland and, whilst everyone at Rooster’s would love to see the boys do the unthinkable and win the tournament, we’re a group realists and fully expect the team to, once again, under perform and return with their collective tale between their legs. After all, it’s pretty much the same group of players who were rubbish in South Africa two years ago.

We’d love to be proven wrong, but can’t quite see it happening.

With that in mind, we’ve brewed an English Pale Ale at 4-2% (a number that conjures up memories of ‘66) called Long Shot. Showcasing a blend of three English hops (Admiral, East Kent Goldings and Bramling Cross), it should prove to be the perfect match for June.

Keep an eye out for it hitting the bar near you soon…
