Roosters Brewing Company Ltd Brewer wanted. Rooster's Brewery is looking for a passionate, technically gifted, quality focused, safety driven, team oriented brewer for our 25brl plant in Knaresborough, North Yorkshire. This is a full salary position, with potential for an equity stake, responsible to the production director. You will be responsible for the day to day brewing operations from receipt of raw materials, brewing duties and fermentation control right through to barrelling or bottling. You will work with the other 3 members of the brew team. We seek an accountable, reliable person who will not cut corners and will take great pride in the work they produce. Experience with various styles of beer will be an asset. Strong management skills are a must as the individual would be responsible day to day organising of the production staff. You must be able to closely adhere to standard procedures and guidelines, including following recipes and implementing detailed cleaning regimes. The individual will also be responsible for experimental brewing on our pilot brewing plant. The successful candidate for this role will have had formal training at an accredited brewing school or an associated degree in an applicable science. You must have a minimum 3 years practical brewing experience in a production environment. You must be able to lift 55 pounds, twist/turn, reach over shoulders, bend/stoop and stand/walk on a continual basis and……you must have a sense of humour.
