Those of you who joined us for the inaugural Suds With Buds last year will recognise them as the headline band that brought the festival to a close with a bang and had everyone in the beer garden begging for more. They absolutely killed it! We’ve been itching to get them back and we’ve finally managed to pin ‘em down.
Hot Soles are a two piece band from Sheffield, playing aggressive soul, absorbing life and singing about it. Hot Soles are a breath-taking duo whose every live performance is a dynamic show-stopper. Since October 2010, the Yorkshire band have been wowing audiences from all walks of life with their rip roaring, raucous soul vibe.
Expect energetic and aggressive soul… with guitar! The energy they’ll bring and the music they’ve created is guaranteed to have your feet tapping and your head nodding – we’re properly excited to have them back! Think The White Stripes meets The Black Keys, but from South Yorkshire.
We’ve also lined up Jake Pattinson as support on the night. Jake’s a local guitarist-turned-frontman who’s enjoyed a variety of success as a solo performer and will be playing a set of upbeat acoustic covers.
The gig is a ‘free’ (pay as you feel) event, with tickets available via our website. You won’t need to pay anything beforehand, but the hope is you’ll take a punt, join us and decide that what you’ve been treated to is worth a few quid on your way out. There’s no obligation, but we’re an independent business trying to put on some cool stuff, so joining us for the evening would be hugely supportive 🙇
