We're Hiring: Sales Account Manager

Field Based Sales Account Manager – Competitive Package

This is a new position, created to contribute to our intended growth in both the craft and traditional beer markets across the North of England. The precise sales territory will be defined linked to the location of the successful candidate.

As Sales Account Manager you will have overall responsibility for brand, sales, profitability and customer relationships in your allocated area. The role is to develop customer relationships and new business and build both Rooster’s and Daleside brands to sell more volume actively contributing to the development of our business.

The successful applicant will have a mixture of sales, people and organisation skills. They will have a track record of success and delivery and will be able to demonstrate an enthusiastic, organised and customer centred approach to sales.

As part of a small team you will be involved in lots of aspects of the business from time to time as the team pushes forwards. Flexibility and getting stuck in are definitely a must.

Key Responsibilities.

     Externally   

  • Selling and growing Rooster’s and Daleside brewery brands.
  • Managing customer relationships on your area. Supporting their sales and events in a way that develops relationships and ensures close working and growth of our brands.
  • Prospecting in your area and developing new business as a key part of our growth strategy
  • Managing events in your area. You will be responsible for customer and supplier events that help deliver more customer and Rooster’s/Daleside sales.
  • Contributing to the execution and delivery of brewery events including beer festivals, customer visits, brand showcases etc.

Internally

  • Contributing in an active way to team meetings and sales plan development.
  • Completing all required admin in a full and timely way.
  • Supporting our internal teams with strong communication and co-operation.
  • Attending brewery functions and events.

Key Measures.

  • Volume, distribution and profit of Rooster’s and Daleside brands.
  • Customer retention and new business development.
  • Customer satisfaction feedback.
  • Call and geographic coverage reporting.
  • Internal responsibilities. Team working feedback, communication, pricing and call report admin.
