We’re excited to be launching two brand new beers that have been under development since early summer 2020, with the recipes having been dialled in over several trial brews on our mini, 60-litre kit over the past six months or so.
Our team have worked incredibly hard during what has been the toughest ten months (and counting) we’ve experienced as a business so far and have beavered away to perfect two beers that we’re now in a position to tell you about and we can’t wait for you to get your hands on them!
The beers in question are Thousand Yard Stare, a 5.4% hazy and gluten free pale and Strength In Numbers, a 7.0% west coast IPA.
It’s all very well us spending loads of time creating these beers and getting excited about them, but us just drinking it all isn’t an ideal way to do business and it’d prove to be a pointless exercise if we failed to let enough people know about them, so we set about working on a dazzling marketing campaign in order to promote the hell out of the beers and share our excitement.
Having trialled, developed and perfected the recipes, named the beers and designed the can labels and keg badges, the next step in launching new products is to create an eye-catching marketing campaign.
Time to call in the experts! Although, there is just one small problem with that…
As a small, independent, family-owned business that, like many others is having to cope with the effects of a global pandemic, we unfortunately don’t have the resources to employ a fancy advertising agency, rent a helicopter or hire a brand strategy consultant to come up with a catchy slogan in order to effectively launch two new products into what is a very crowded and competitive market.
What we do have, however, is Photoshop and an opportunity for you to get involved, so why not join us in having a bit of fun along the way and be in with a chance of winning a chunk of beer and some other Rooster’s goodies!
How To Enter
Fancy yourself as the next Don Draper or Peggy Olson? Here’s how to get involved:
Come up with a catchy advertising slogan

The closing date for entries is January 31st
Our favourites from each social media platform will then be put to a public vote in February to determine which three will then be crowned the overall winners!
Entrants must be aged 18 or over and prizes can only be shipped to an address within the UK.
(Please note, this is just a bit of fun and we don’t intend on using any of the suggested or winning slogans as part of an actual ad campaign!)
As well as walking away with a mixed case of Rooster’s beers (including Thousand Yard Stare and Strength In Numbers), each of the three winners will also see their slogan plastered all over a billboard in one of the world’s largest cities (via the magic of Photoshop) and receive a print of their winning slogan, mocked up as an advert for the beers to hang on their wall!
