Check them out below and keep an eye on our Live Music page for future events and gigs!
Makk is an indie singer, songwriter based in Harrogate but originally from Woking. His original music is recorded at Evoke Studios in Leeds with his producer and friend Jacob Clarke. Makks' music is hard to define, influenced by indie americana, folk and pop and whatever he is listening to at the time, his songwriting tells personal tales of life and love that both move and uplift in equal measure. Makks' music has regularly featured on BBC Introducing and more recently he was invited to play a live session for them. Makk is currently releasing new music and is in the studio recording for an EP to be released late 2023.
Sam Jayne is a 28-year-old Americana artist based in Leeds. Known in a previous life as Ramona Rose, she is recognised for her ability to make an audience truly feel, enticing listeners up and down the country with her own personal concoction of classic Americana, modern Pop influences, and vintage Rock undertones. Sam Jayne is an artist that constantly toes the line between soft and gritty, gentle and harsh, soft and raw, drawing influence from the strong female singer-songwriters that shaped a generation - Stevie Nicks, Joni Mitchell, KT Tunstall, and Avril Lavigne to name a few. Performing live with little more than a guitar and a stompbox, she knows how to tell a story the way very few do, infusing intricate diary-entry lyrics with real pain and heartbreaking irony.
British singer/songwriter Oliver Pinder is known for his sad boy indie pop songs. He first gained attention with the song “Dear” in 2015 at 14 years old. This was included on his debut EP “Island Rain”. He has toured the UK supporting the likes of; JP Cooper, Benjamin Francis Leftwich, Embrace, Billie Marten, Marika Hackman, Isaac Gracie and more. Pinder’s latest single ‘Stressed’ dropped in October, loaded with neat guitar-work, infectious vocal lines, and production that comes infused with personality, ‘Stressed’ offers the perfect autumnal glow.
‘Illustrates how much of a talented songwriter Oliver Pinder is. Brilliant’ Emily Pilbeam, BBC Introducing.
