BEER. STREET FOOD. LIVE MUSIC.

beer

Following the success of the inaugural invitational beer festival last summer, we’re delighted to share the news that Suds With Buds will be back for 2024! Taking place on Saturday June 29th across the entirety of our combined brewery and Taproom site in Harrogate, some of the UK’s most respected and talked about breweries have been invited to descend upon our little corner of the world to pour a selection of their beers, contributing to what will be a truly incredible line-up. The event will run from 2pm – 8pm and will span the brewery and yard, Taproom, Beer Garden and The Sample Room upstairs. It’ll be a ticket-only event, with the Taproom being closed to non-festival goers for the day. On top of the beers, we’ll also have four street food traders serving up some of the tastiest food the North has to offer, across an eclectic mix of styles and dietary requirements. We’ll be announcing who each of the traders are in the run up to the event and will update this page along the way too. The purpose-built live music in the Beer Garden will play host to some fantastic musical talent from the Harrogate area and from further afield too - ideal for pairing with a few tasty suds with your buds.

Ordinarily, we love having dogs join us at the Taproom, but we’re sorry to say Suds With Buds isn’t a dog-friendly event. With the brewery being opened up for bars and seating, coupled with the layout of the space dictating that everyone at some point will need to pass through what is a essentially a food production facility, we’re unable to allow our four-legged friends to attend. With hundreds of people expected, it could also prove to be a worrying environment for certain dogs to find themselves in. Similarly, as much as we’ve tried to make the event a family friendly one, for a variety of reasons, Suds With Buds is an over 18’s only festival. Sorry for any disappointment or inconvenience this may cause. Hopefully there’s enough time from tickets going on sale to the event taking place for any necessary childcare arrangements to be made if you’re reading this and don’t want to miss out.

Speaking of tickets, the event has been budgeted to break even, with a variety of costs needing to be covered in order to pull it off. Tickets are available via www.roosters.co.uk from February 1st. Subscribers to our mailing list will receive an early access link on January 31st, so why not sign up to make sure you don’t miss out?! The price of the ticket includes a Suds With Buds festival glass, as well as an event programme with a full beer menu and where to find the various brewery bars and food traders on the day. The price of the tickets will also cover all of the associated costs of putting on the event, including staffing, equipment, the provision of a wellness area (The Coven), security, the musicians and additional event toilets, among lots of other essential elements. We’re looking forward to welcoming everyone to Suds With Buds and are working hard to make it the best event possible once again, while also ensuring we offer a safe space for everyone involved. As such, we’ve created a Code of Conduct for everyone attending to adhere to, please take a moment to read it.
