Suds With Buds Code Of Conduct
We’re looking forward to welcoming everyone to the inaugural Suds With Buds beer festival and have been working hard to make it the best event possible, while also ensuring we offer a safe space for everyone involved.
As such, we’ve created the following Code of Conduct for everyone attending to adhere to:
- We will not tolerate any type of harassment, bullying or assault based on, but not exclusive to gender, race, ethnicity, religion, age, sexual orientation, disability, body size or physical appearance.
- Attendees engaging in conversations that involve derogatory comments or words and phrases that we feel are discriminatory, or that make other attendees, volunteers or staff uncomfortable, will be warned or, at the discretion of the management, may be asked to leave.
- We will have over 100 exciting beers being poured by breweries from around the world, but Suds With Buds is not a challenge to try them all! Please drink responsibly; we’re all here to have a good time.
- There will be a designated wellness space, including a Wellness Officer courtesy of the beer equality group The Coven. They will be able to assist with first-aid, mental health care, water, phone chargers and anything you might need, should you wish to take a little break along the way. They’ll also work closely with our team and security to act quickly to aid you, if required.
In short: don’t be a dick.
All breweries, volunteers and staff attending have received and understood our policies and procedures, which incorporates the above information and have agreed to these as part of their involvement.
Rooster’s will make every effort to provide a space free from sexual and/or racial harassment and intimidation, and any other form of harassment or discrimination constituting unacceptable behaviour that is personally offensive or harmful. In this respect, Rooster’s does not condone harassment that involves abusive or offensive behaviour with regard to gender, race, ethnic background, sexual orientation, disability, religion, belief or age. If you see or are a victim of any form of discrimination or harassment, please notify a member of security, staff or a Wellness Officer.
