Raise a tankard and join us for the very first Almost Authentic Oktoberfest at the Taproom! Inspired by the world-famous Bavarian festival, we're putting our own Yorkshire twist on the festivities with plenty of brewery-fresh Rooster's beers alongside a carefully selected range of authentic German beers, delicious festival food, a lively oompah band, traditional festival games and a prize for the best-dressed Oktoberfest reveller.

Your ticket includes your very own festival tankard and Oktoberfest hat, so you'll be ready to join the celebrations from the moment you arrive.
Dust off your lederhosen or dirndl, gather your friends and get ready for an unforgettable day of beer, food, music and Bavarian-inspired fun.
Well-behaved dogs are welcome, and children aged 10 and over can attend with a responsible adult.

What’s an invitational beer festival?
Picture a beer festival that involves us inviting some of the UK’s finest breweries to create a unique event with close to 100 beers being poured across a wide range of styles and ABV’s. Add in a selection of delicious street food options and an line-up of ace live music and you've just imagined Suds With Buds!
When and where is it taking place?
Saturday September 26th, across as six-hour session between 2pm and 8pm. The Almost Authentic Oktoberfest will be taking place in the taproom - outside if the weather permits, or up in The Sample Room.
How accessible is the event?
The taprooml is wheelchair accessible, apart from The Sample Room. However, some areas have more limited accessibility than others - please get in touch if you have any questions relating to this.
What does the cost of a ticket cover?
The event is budgeted to break even, with a variety of costs needing to be covered in order to pull it off. Here’s a brief breakdown of some of the costs the ticket price covers: Security and first aid • Event staffing • Additional event toilets • Paying the bands, DJ's and musicians • Staging, sound management and other associated equipment • VAT @ 20%
Will the Taproom be open to non-Oktoberfest goers on the day?
No, the Taproom will be closed on Saturday September 26th, operating purely for the purpose of The Almost Authentic Oktoberfest between 2pm and 8pm. It will be open as usual on both Friday September 25th and Sunday September 27th.
